Paul and Renee Martinez both retired with 20 + years with the Colorado Department of Corrections. Paul has been entrusted with Pueblo Community’s security needs for the last 26 years. The security of your event is our priority and we take your safety seriously.
The vast majority of security guards at MarTech Security Specialists (MSS) are former or current employees of Colorado Department of Corrections. Other security specialists are current or former employees of Colorado Mental Health Institute and the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Our MSS guards have received various local, State, and federal training classes that includes but is not limited to first aid, professionalism, fire & life safety, and use of force. Paul Martinez
Co-Owner and COO
Paul is a U.S. Navy Veteran and former Colorado Department of Corrections Officer with 26 years of service. His background includes extensive event and community service across Pueblo and long-term roles with the Colorado State Fair, District 60, District 70, and Alfonso Tactical. Since 2020, he has served as the Co-Owner and COO of MarTech Security, leading the company's operational and security programs.

Renee Martinez, BSN
Co-Owner and CEO
Renee is a Registered Nurse with three decades of service in Pueblo, including 20 years with the Colorado Department of Corrections, where she advanced to Health Services Administrator. After retiring in 2011, she pursued multiple business ventures and, in 2020, became Co-Owner and CEO of MarTech Security.
